Shin-chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation – The Endless Seven-Day Journey, published by Neos Corporation and developed by Millenium Kitchen, will be released in the West.
The game, based on the famous manga series Crayon Shin-chan, was first published in Japan in July 2021, but will now be accessible in Europe and North America in August.
About Shin-chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation – The Endless Seven-Day Journey
The game itself is a pleasant life-simulation game in the tradition of something like Animal Crossing. You play as the eponymous character Shin-chan during your summer vacation in the idyllic village of Assou. You’ll get to explore, gather bugs and fish, take photographs, engage with the locals, and do other things as you see the bizarre and beautiful events that take place in Assou over the course of 30 days.
Hiroshi must go to Kyushu for work, therefore the whole Nohara family has agreed to stay with Misae’s childhood friend in Assou, Kumamoto.
However, on their journey to Assou, they come across a weird guy who offers them an even odd camera in exchange for acting as his witnesses…
Shinnosuke can enjoy his summer vacation in the magnificent Assou fields and mountains to the utmost with his new camera in hand. The environment is filled with species he would never discover in Kasukabe. There are also townsfolk to assist and new acquaintances to meet.
That being said, don’t these youngsters resemble the ones he knows from home?
Shinnosuke watches a huge beast silhouetted against the light of a full moon one chilly summer night. A odd guy with a big grin stands next to the beast.
It’s the same strange guy who handed him the camera at the station…
And he refers to himself as the Evil Professor. Following this meeting, weird things begin to happen around Assou…
